Our first full day in LA was AMAZINGGGG. Jack woke us up at the crack of dawn (hello time change), so we headed to a cute little local diner within walking distance for breakfast. After breakfast, Jack was already ready for his first nap so we let him nap at our Airbnb while we got ready for the day.

Our first stop was Griffith Observatory. I was sooo excited to go because I love La La Land + also, reallly wanted to see the Hollywood Sign. We had grand ideas to hike to the sign from Griffith, but clearly realized that would not be happening with Jack because it was 100 degrees + in the sun the entire time. We walked all of Griffith + admired the views which were absolutely breathtaking. It was pretty crowded even though we were there when it opened, so it took us a while to navigate it. Jack really loved looking at all the different people (there were tons of kids).

After Griffith, we headed to Grand Central Market for lunch. We originally had plans to eat at EggSlut, but the line was super long which is virtually impossible to deal with when you have a baby with you so instead, we ate BBQ at Horse Thief. This turned out to be the best idea ever because it was really laid back, not crowded + we saw Jason Segal! I love him from Sarah Marshall. But of course, I acted ultra cool + did not fangirl.

After lunch, we went back to our Airbnb to let Jack play + let out some steam. We stayed there for a while + then met up with our a2 family + real family for dinner at Kettle Black in DTLA. It was SO CUTE + decorated amazing. I got an Aviation drink (I love it from Pizitz + it tasted just as good!) + pappardelle pasta. Jack had a blast being passed around + talking to everyone.

And like a good parent does, we wrapped the night + were home at about 8 PM for bedtime. Jack went straight to sleep + Cody + I started the new Netflix Lady Gaga documentary that will make you so sad for her!

All in all, it was a great gorgeous day in LA + we had so much fun experiencing it all together!
