Note: Mount Laurel Fall Festival
This weekend was PERFECT. Like the best weather, EVER. So we took advantage of it + headed to Mount Laurel's Fall Festival on Saturday with our friends, April and Drew. We went to this same festival last year + I'm pretty sure it doubled in size in one year! There were 200 different vendors but the three that we loved the most were R&S Farms, Piper and Leaf Tea and Chisel + Grain.
I'm a sucker for a cute pumpkin (and anything else pumpkin related) so we spent a good portion of the day rummaging through the insane selection R&S Farms had to offer. The owners were awesome to talk to + if you live in Birmingham, they operate a CSA each Summer! I'll definitely be checking that out next year.
We've been fans of Piper and Leaf for years ever since we found them at Pepperplace Market a few years back. Who doesn't love sweet tea? And they have 10000 flavors (some that are seasonal), are local and you can get discounted refills if you purchase their mason jar! We love all the brews but our favorite is to mix Front Porch with Briarpatch...DELISH!
One of our good friends, Brandon, started up Chisel + Grain and we've been huge fans ever since. We love his monogram circles + not only do we have one in our Living Room, but they are our go-to gift for Baby Showers or Housewarmings. Brandon is insanely talented + we love everything he makes, but our eyes are definitely on his concrete planters that are perfect for succulents.
Fall festivals are on our yearly list of things we HAVE TO DO! What are your favorite ways to celebrate fall? Birmingham locals, any upcoming events you think we need to go to? Have a great Monday, friends!
